Julia M. Saddington, PA-C
Julia considers herself an almost-native of Richmond, growing up in Chesterfield County from the age of 4. After graduating from Meadowbrook High School, Julia attended Wake Forest University, graduating in 1992 with a dual major in Exercise and Sports Science and Spanish. After completing her Masters in Exercise Physiology at the University of South Carolina, she was employed locally as an athletic trainer and worked with the Richmond Ballet. In 1997, she decided to pursue being a Physician Assistant and attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine, graduating with a Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies in August 1999. She has practiced in orthopaedic surgery ever since. She has been with Dr. Miller since June 2004 and loves working with him to care for patients. She assists Dr. Miller in the office, operating room and hospital.


Jennifer Mischke, Clinical Assistant
Jennifer has worked at OrthoVirginia for 4 years and has been Dr. Miller’s clinical assistant for the past 1 ½ years. She is originally from Long Island, New York and is an avid softball player. She is responsible for all clinical duties and filling out disability paperwork.
Jennifer Hamer, Medical Secretary
Jennifer has been employed by OrthoVirginia since the fall of 2012.  She is originally from New Jersey and graduated from East Carolina University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services management.  Jennifer assists in clinic as needed, and is responsible for all things related to scheduling surgery with Dr. Miller.
